Create a Contact
Create James as a contact in your app.

Create Todo
Select James and create a Todo called Follow up with James and set the date to be 6 weeks later.

Set effective date
Since you want this Todo to become eligible for you to do after 6 weeks, you can start the effective date to be 5 weeks from now.

Upcoming Todo
You are set. The Todo will be in your upcoming list and will start showing up in your regular Todos in 5 weeks.

Get something done for your boss

Your boss, Sarah, is asking you to follow up on a lead she met at a conference called Robin, and asks you to give a status update in three weeks. Zinnect is a great way to stay on top of such situations.

Choose contact
Your boss Sarah should be in your contact list already.

Create Todo
Select Sarah and create a Todo called Update status on Robin and set the target date to be 3 weeks later.

Set effective date
Since you want this Todo to become eligible for you to do after 3 weeks, you can set the effective date to be 2 weeks from now.

Upcoming Todo
You are set. The Todo will be in your upcoming list and will start showing up in your regular Todos in 2 weeks. .

Other ways
Optionally, you can also create Robin as a contact in your device and create Todos to follow up with her.

Organize a work or social event

In about three weeks you and a couple of your colleagues, Sid and Janet, have to work on a small event that your team is organizing at your company.

Create group
Create a Group Todo. In the first step create a group called Office Party and add Sid and Janet to the group.

Create Todo
Once you are in the Office Party group, create the following 7 Todos

Group Todo
You can leave these Todos as assigned to the group or assign them between the three of you.

Todo list
You are set. The Todos will be in your list
